We are very happy to show you our last wedding we photographed a few weekends ago at Almiral de la Font, one of the coolest wedding venues in Barcelona.

The main characters of this beautiful love story are, my dear Kendall & Jeff, an American couple who is living in Seattle and they decided to organize a really cool wedding at Almiral de la Font to celebrate they are totally madly in love.

Before they were engaged, Kendall visited Barcelona for a short vacation and she felt in love with people and the atmosphere of the city. When she came back home and Jeff proposed  her to get married… So you can imagine she didn’t have any doubts about the place and the city, 😉

It was a really nice experience to photograph this wedding at Almiral de la Font, we loved the naturalness that surrounded the wedding. It was as everyone had the freedom to do what they wanted and how they wanted. The couple also treated us as their guests every moment, being participant with them throughout the day. It´s always a challenge to document a wedding, but weddings like this, with few guests is still more. The couple set no rules for us and gave us the chance to work freely to be absorbed by the atmosphere.

This time Erika couldn’t to photograph this wedding with me and I invited to my good friend Victor Linares for helping me during the whole day. Was a pleasure to share a wedding him, thanks man!!

Enjoy with our selection;

Who said being a wedding photographer is easy?!?

When we look back and remember what it was last year, we can´t stop smiling and at the same time think how we have had time to do so many things. Very often I tell Erika that we are living two lives in one. It is obvious that one year has 365 days, but  we can say that 2018 had 730 days for us, hahaha!.

In 2018 we were lucky to photograph a lot of incredible weddings (and organize a few more weddings with our second brand), visit 14 countries (some of them about 4 times as is the case in Italy), are invited to a really nice conferences around the world and also give a lot of workshops. And if all this we add a move to a new house and the launch of our new website for sure many of you are going to think that definitely a year for us has 730 days, hahaha !. (If I tell you that I also broke my tailbone twice in less than 4 months I’m sure you do not believe me anymore, right?)

Photographing a lot of weddings has been an adventure, not only have we traveled through Spain from end to end, but we also visit different countries such as Switzerland, Slovakia or Cyprus where we photograph weddings that we will never forget. We love photographing weddings in Spain, but of course, when a couple from another country proposes to be their photographer, a feeling of immense happiness runs through our entire body. Of course, we can´t forget our dearest Balearic Islands, especially Mallorca, our favorite island. Every wedding there is always unique! .

We started the year visiting one of the most important conferences in the USA and we ended up visiting in less than a week the most recognized conferences in India and Brazil, crazy! Of all of them we take the best, difficult to choose our favorite,  although it is true that we always carry in our hearts the visit to Tuscany and the workshop organized by our friend Fabio Mirulla (Acme) with some of the best Italian wedding photographers.

It has not been easy to create a selection that perfectly describes all the experiences we lived the last year, so when we created this gallery with our Best of 2018, we decided to choose the photos that most impressed us and that had our soul. It is not a selection of our best photos, this is a selection of our favorite ones.

Erika and I want to thank all the friends and family who have supported us throughout the year. From great colleagues who helped us to photograph some of our weddings (Franck Boutonnet, Sanne de Block, Víctor Linares, Javier Rojas & Carlos Santanatalia, we love you!) to big companies like Colorex that made our work shine more than ever.

Thank you friends, 2019 is here and we are going to try to make this a great year!

I love photographing weddings like Marta & Arnau´s wedding, full of pure energy, happiness, love and passion.

This amazing couple got married at La Catedral del Mar in Barcelona, one of the most beautiful and best lighted cathedrals I’ve ever visited (I think Catedral del Mar doesn´t need to be introduce it, hahaha) . Afterwards, they celebrated to the máximum with their families and best friends at Masia Egara, a really cool wedding venue close to Barcelona.

Marta & Arnau are definitely one of those couples that I will never forget. The truth is that I must take off my hat before them and say to them thanks a lot for the trust, friendship and understanding they placed on me in such a special day for them.

Marta was so cool. The incredible Santos Costura wedding dress was perfect for her and added more more ingredients to have a perfect day.

I´m sure they will carry Masia Egara in their hearts and they won´t forget all the moments that they lived at their wedding. I remember many moments, especially when I was with Marta and her father on the back seat of their car going to the Catedral del Mar for the ceremony.

Marta & Arnau, thank you for everything, for giving me the opportunity to photograph your wedding in Barcelona, to make a hole in your heart.

Enjoy with our selection

It´s time to show our next wedding story. It happened at a small castle in front of the Mediterranean Sea in the region of Tarragona.

When Vanessa and Jakob contacted and told us they are getting married at Castell de Tamarit, we were really excited. We´ve never visited The Castell of Tamarit before, it was our first time, Yes!!

It´s always a pleasure to take part in a wedding, but the things change when the groom is not only a friend, but also, a wedding photographer.

The truth is that I met Laura, before him. I remember one day, Laura contacted me to tell me that she was interested to buy him a seat in one of my workshops. So, I can say that I was a gift for him, hahaha.

Me encantó!
