María & César se casaron hace pocas semanas en una acogedora finca muy cercana a Logroño. Pero esta historia no comienza aquí sino varios años antes, mucho antes quizás que ellos supieran que iban a casarse. Durante años antes hubo un lugar que visitaron en varias ocasiones, sin duda un lugar diferente a los demás. Islandia.
Durante las primeras reuniones me comentaron que les encantaba la idea de realizar una sesión de preboda en Suecia, el país donde vive y trabaja Cesar. No se por qué, pero aquel día tenía a mi lado una libreta con información sobre Islandia. César lo vió y me dijo que ellos habían visitado el país en numerosas ocasiones. Yo les comenté que me gustaría visitarlo pronto.
De ahí surgió este reportaje, de la casualidad y a la vez de la suerte. Muy pronto cambiamos Suecia por Islandia y aquí van unas pocas fotos de aquel par de días que pasé junto a ellos en uno de los países más especiales y únicos que he visitado nunca.
María & César got married a few weeks ago at a lovely venue very close to Logroño. However, perhaps this story began long before they knew they were going to marry. Years before there was a country that they visited several times, definitely a different country to the others that they had visited. Iceland.
During the first meetings, they told me that they were interested in booking me to take photos of them at an engagement session in Sweden, the country that César is living and working in. I don´t know why, but that day I had a little book of Iceland on the table and César saw it and he told me that they had visited Iceland several times. I told them that it would be a dream of me to visit this country.
This set of photos was born from luck. Soon we switched Sweden to Iceland and here are a few photos from those days that I was with this couple in one of the most captivating countries in the world.
